DESCRIPTION: Clocks- 2 (Two) wall: (1) New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., "No. 3043" wall clock, 8 day, time only, spring driven movement in a mahogany finish case, c1917; (2) Self-winding Clock Co., New York, "No. 18-A" wall clock, time only, battery-powered winding mechanism driving an 80 beat per hour pendulum movement in birch case with cherry finish with painted metal dial, c1910.
CONDITION: (1) The case has an original finish and a few small dents and dings to the corners. The paper dial is dirty and the numerals have faded. Nice patterned brass-clad pendulum. Original hands. (2) Case with original finish is quite attractive. A piece of return molding on the left side is missing. Large painted metal dial has a few small losses around the mounting screws and seconds bit. Wiring is insulated with cotton, so it is old, if not original. Wooden pendulum rod is broken, but both pieces are included for future repairs. Movement serial number 63673. Dimensions are for the Self-Winding clock (2). Sold "as is ".
